Recent studies have shown that using a 0.03% concentration of topical Finasteride was just as effective in suppressing scalp DHT to prevent hair loss while minimizing systemic DHT suppression. Spironolactone is a medication that has been used for almost 60 years. It is used to treat blood pressure issues in pill form. The drug also has antiandrogenic properties.
